We believe in one God (1 Timothy 2:5), creator of all things (Genesis 1:1), holy (Isaiah 6:1-3), and eternally existing in three persons: Father (1 Peter 1:2), Son (John 20:28), and Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God (John 1:1, 14; 3:16; Hebrews 1:8, 10) who is not created but has existed from eternity (Colossians 1:16-17). In the Incarnation, he was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:34-35) as truly human and truly God (Galatians 4:4-5). He lived a perfect life and died on the cross as a perfect and complete sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3; Hebrews 4:15; 10:11-14). Further, he rose bodily from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:4; Luke 24:36-43) and ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9), where he sits at the right hand of God the Father (Hebrews 1:3).

We believe the Holy Spirit exists eternally in perfect union with God the Father and God the Son (Psalm 139:7; Matthew 28:19; John 15:26; 1 John 4:8, 12-13). He convicts the world of sin (John 16:8) and regenerates the sinner (John 3:5; Titus 3:5). The Holy Spirit indwells every Christian (John 7:39; 14:17; Romans 8:9-11), and guides (John 16:13; Romans 8:14), instructs (John 14:26), and empowers the believer for godly living (Romans 8:13) and service (1 Corinthians 12:7; 2 Corinthians 3:6).

We believe the scriptures, both Old (Matthew 22:43; Acts 1:6, 4:25, 28:25-27; Hebrews 3:7; 1 Peter 1:11-12) and New Testaments (1 Timothy 5:18; 2 Peter 3:15-16), to be the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16) without error in the original writings (Psalm 19:7-9; John 10:35; Titus 1:2), the complete revelation of his will for the salvation of men (Deuteronomy 13:1-5, 18:20-22, 29:29; 2 Timothy 3:15), and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life (Deuteronomy 4:2; Proverbs 30:5-6; Matthew 5:17-19; Revelation 22:18-19; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God as male and female with equal value deserving care and protection from the time of fertilization to natural death (Genesis 1:26-28; James 3:9; Psalm 139:13-16; Luke 1:31-36). God instituted marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:18-25; Matthew 19:3-9; Malachi 2:14-15; Romans 7:1-3).

As a result of sin (Genesis 3; Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22), all unregenerate humanity is now in rebellion against God (Romans 3:9-20, 8:8; Ephesians 2:1-3) and under eternal condemnation (Matthew 25:46; John 3:18; Romans 8:1; 2 Thessalonians 1:5-10).

We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone (Acts 15:11; Romans 4:5; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9) in Christ alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:10-12). The perfect obedience and sacrificial death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection provide the only ground for justification, sanctification, and glorification for all who believe (Romans 3:21-26, 4:22-25, 2 Corinthians 5:21), and those who believe become the children of God (Romans 8:15-17; Galatians 4:4-7; 1 Peter 3:18; Revelation 21:1-7).

We believe in the personal, bodily (John 14:3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16), and glorious (Matthew 16:27, 24:30, 25:31) return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that Christ’s return has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer (Matthew 16:24-28; Mark 8:34-38; 1 John 3:2-3).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead (1 Corinthians 15:35-49) and that Jesus will judge the living and the dead (Matthew 25:31-33; 2 Timothy 4:1): of the believer to everlasting blessedness (Matthew 25:34) and joy (Matthew 25:14-23) with their Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), and the unbeliever to eternal punishment (Matthew 25:46) and eternal destruction (2 Thessalonians 1:5-10).

We believe that the true Church (2 Timothy 2:19) is composed of all such persons who have saving faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 16:30-31; Ephesians 1:13) and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit (John 3:5-6; Titus 3:4-7) and are united in the body of Christ of which he is the head (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 4:15-16).

We believe local c​hurches are the visible and earthly expression of the universal church (Acts 9:31; Romans 16:5; 1 Corinthians 16:19). Local churches proclaim the true gospel message and administer the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:37-38; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, 15:1-8, 11:17-34; Galatians 3:27; 1 Timothy 4:16; 2 Timothy 1:13-14).
